My Site is Suspended!
| Sites on our servers are suspended for a wide variety of reasons, some of them automatically and others require our intervention, here we will look at the most common reasons. Please note this is not an exhaustive list!
- Billing Issues
Are all your invoices paid? Do you have any outstanding? If so your account may have been suspended for non-payment. This is easily rectified by logging into our billing system and paying your invoice.
- Bandwidth or Disk Quota Exceeded
In this case you will need to reduce your usage, for disk this is easily achieved by removing some files (start with clearing out your deleted items, old stats and mail), you can see where the disk is being used up by using the Disk Usage Viewer in your cPanel.
For bandwidth this isn't quite so easy, if you want to get your site back up and running in the current calendar month talk to support about an ugprade to your existing package. There are many ways to reduce your bandwidth usage (like using smaller photo's and hosting video offsite) but they are beyond the scope of this article.
- Suspicious Activity / Breach of Terms & Conditions
We may have suspended your site due to malicious activity, hacking attempts, sending SPAM or a breach of our Terms & Conditions. In this case we'll have notified you of the reason why and you should act on this information as soon as possible.
